Commuting
The Metro-North Harlem and New Haven lines serve most of Westchester, with express trains reaching Grand Central in 25–45 minutes from many stations. Pelham, Larchmont, and Mamaroneck are popular for short commutes. Parking at stations fills quickly — check waitlists before buying. If you're driving to NYC, the Hutchinson Parkway and I-95 are the main corridors but can be heavily congested during peak hours.
On the New Haven Line: Pelham (28 min express), New Rochelle (30 min), Larchmont (34 min), Mamaroneck (38 min). On the Harlem Line: Tuckahoe, Crestwood, and Scarsdale range from 35–47 minutes on express trains. Times vary by service type — always check the MTA schedule for your target station.
