Did You Wait Too Long to Sell? Why Fall Can Be One of the Best Times to Sell Your Westchester Home
Every year around this time, I receive a version of the same question:
“Lauren, did I wait too long? Should I just hold off until next spring?”
It’s an understandable concern. Spring has long been considered the “busy season” for real estate, and many homeowners assume that if they didn’t list by April or May, they’ve missed their opportunity.
The reality is much different.
As a Realtor serving New Rochelle, Scarsdale, Larchmont, White Plains, Rye, Pelham, Harrison, Mamaroneck and surrounding Westchester communities, I’ve learned that successful home sales aren’t determined by the calendar alone. They’re driven by preparation, pricing, presentation, and understanding today’s buyers.
In many cases, fall can be one of the strongest—and most overlooked—times to sell.
